Engineer
We are currently looking for an Engineer with a strong background in Mechanics and Electronics. As the Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our US Team, which will support you in developing the new components. Additionally, the Engineer will be the point of contact for our future customers, to understand their needs, and implement them in our new modular product line.

The ideal applicant is willing to learn and willing to travel - you will spend the first 2-6 weeks at our US headquarters located in the United States.
Job Responsibilities
The Mechanical Engineer will understand electrical and hydraulic systems to effectively design systems, diagnose machine failures, identify root causes, and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components. This position will provide a solid understanding of all company projects, and an understanding of how multiple systems integrate and work together. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

Systems designing including PLC programs, Coolant Configurations, PCBs, Motor Controls, Sheet Metal Configurations, Metal Fabrication, Hydraulics Systems, Refrigeration Components, Filtration, Solid Model Drafting, and more.

Integrating performance improving accessories for machine tools as well as creating custom configurations for specific needs.

Leading and maintaining company product lines.

Perform field service and installation both locally and nationally to better understand our products and their applications as well as directly contact customers.

Providing technical phone support; offering real time solutions and service directly to customers.

Supporting Production/Assembly through training and education to enhance productivity, as well as working with assemblers to coordinate systems designs.

Capable of being a brand ambassador to customers and prospects, Capable to work in a team.

Job Qualifications/Proficiencies
-
A successful candidate should have experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, and/or equivalent on-the-job experience with related systems.

Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Ability to understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.

Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD Systems. Experience in SolidWorks/Related Software preferred.

Technical capability/strong problem-solving skills.
-
Fluently spoken and written languages: German and English are required (French and Italian are a plus).
